Fashion Quarterly is 30 and is celebrating

For their 30th, the team went to India to shoot the “new demure” silhouette in an 18th century Rajasthani palace and mismatched prints in old forts around Jaipur.

There’s also a good dose of clean, minimalist workwear and the softest sheer dresses in the prettiest sherbet colours.

And, for those who’ve seen more Fashion Quarterly’s than they care to mention, enjoy the trip down memory lane with a retrospective of almost every FQ cover that ever was, as well as a competition to win more than $12,000 worth of designer treats.

We’re always in the mood to celebrate fashion but being a fairly casual lot, sometimes it takes a special occasion to inspire us to go the extra mile in getting glam.

Race Wear sees a face-off between hat or fascinator – which to wear and when, a former Fashions in the Field finalist provides the inside word on how to make the cut, there’s up-do options which will stay the day, a guy's guide to suiting up and even tips to bluff your way to winning form when placing your bets.
